Job Description

STRADIGY CONSULTING of behalf of its client MIGATO is looking for a Retail Operations Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Visit retail stores to ensure efficient and effective management as well as high performance sales (at least 80% of working hours will be out in the field)
  • Execute retail operations, audit, prevent payroll loss, schedule, market and fulfill orders smoothly.
  • Supervise, guide, allocate responsibilities to personnel staff across several retail stores to ensure set objectives are met
  • Provide training to retail employees to develop their skills and enhance their job performance
  • Contact, train and oversee area and store managers and other retail staff to communicate relevant information
  • Motivate sales staff to maximise performance and achieve financial goals
  • Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff
  • Inspect the areas in the store, and resolve any issues that might arise and maximize sales
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Deal with complaints from customers to safeguard the brand and the store’s reputation
  • Enhance best practices to ensure a satisfied clientele
  • Monitor stock levels, purchases and replenishment, for each retail outlet and ensure they all stay within budget
  • Stay up-to-date of market trends to determine space for improvements in the retail stores
  • Analyse sales reports and make forecasts
  • Create sales budget in collaboration with Retail Director and follow up daily targets
  • Develop commercial policies for the merchandising of goods in retail stores
  • Set and regulate product pricing using results of market and demand analysis
  • Prepare promotional materials and displays
  • Collaborate with marketing department

Requirements

  • Experience in Retail Operations and/or Retail Sales supervision in a multi-outlet retailer (preferably in fashion or technology)
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Analytical skills and ability to utilise data/insights to suggest next best activity
  • Experience/Familiarity with Fashion will be seen as a plus
  • Well organised with good time management skills
  • Experience is staff selection, evaluation and recruitment
  • Leadership skills and a proven record of people management
  • Comfortable to spend 80% of your time travelling out in the field across Greece
