Our mission is to transform education and offer to youth, underserved communities and educators the opportunity to acquire training in digital skills and gain agile business skills in order to upskill and reskill professionally.
Socialinnov is looking to add a member with a focus on its digital educational team. The candidate will not only be expected to teach digital competencies, but also create content for courses and identify new areas of interest. The ideal candidate needs to have a deep understanding of the digital technologies educational field and proven experience in teaching.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in digital technologies.
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
- Create new curriculum, develop existing curriculum and research new ideas for courses to be introduced.
Requirements
- Knowledge and capacity to deliver digital technology courses in at least one or more of the following:
o JavaScript,
o NodeJS,
o React,
o React native,
o Game development,
o Unity or Unreal Engine,
o C#,
o Mobile development,
o Kotlin,
o Swift,
o SQL,
o Python,
o HTML5. - A 5’ minutes (max.) sample video must be sent from all candidates tutoring in one of the above subjects at , mentioning the title of the Job Ad for which you are sending the sample video and your name.
- At least 2 years of proven teaching experience.
- Fluency in English is a prerequisite for this position.
- Certification in Adult Training is not a requirement but will be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in migration/refugee contexts and knowledge of Arabic, French, or Farsi is not a requirement but will be considered an asset.
