We are hiring a Data curation analyst to join our editorial team, who is going to supercharge the quality of the content we deliver in our platform beyond customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of biomedical dictionaries and ontologies used across our scientific products
  • Assist the annotation process for creating machine learning models together with the engineering teams and product owners
  • Collaborate with members of the curation team to ensure highest level of quality
  • Ensure that key biomedical ontologies stay up to date
  • Provide input on data quality and detect errors in a timely manner

Requirements

Must have:

  • BSc/MSc in Biomedical sciences
  • Proficiency with digital tools especially handling Excel files
  • Excellent command over English language
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and disciplined with regards policy, procedures, and standards
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver consistently
  • A good team player with the ability to work on your own initiative

Good to have:

  • 1+ years of experience in editorial function curating content for Life Science business domain (biology, pharma)
  • Previous experience with Natural Language Processing would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in managing ontologies and dictionaries
