Java Web Developer / Tester (Thessaloniki)

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Java Web Developer, to work at the premises of the company in Thessaloniki. The candidate will join a software development team that uses cutting edge technologies to implement challenging IT software projects, for major international public organisations. The candidate will receive adequate training and support to develop its career path.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Develop excellent quality web and mobile software, using state-of-the-art software development techniques and technologies;
- Participate and contribute in software architecture design;
- Work in a multi-national environment.
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering;
- 2 years of professional experience in software development;
- Strong analytical capabilities, team- and quality-oriented, keen to learn and excel;
- Experience in Java web development and relevant frameworks amp; APIs (JavaEE or Spring/SpringBoot, JPA, JAX-RS, CDI);
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs;
- Experience in Javascript and JS Single-Page-Applications frameworks (e.g. Angular or ReactJS or ExtJS);
- Experience in relational Database Management Systems (e.g. Oracle or Postgres) and noSQL technologies (e.g. ElasticSearch);
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
Desired qualifications:
- Experience in any of the following technologies will be highly appreciated: Jenkins CI/C pipelines, ELK, Ansible, Puppet, Azure.
