Job Description

Our team is growing and we are looking to hire a Digital Marketing Account Manager with minimum of 3 years' related experience. The role contributes to the management and the further development of the clients’ accounts, in one of the primary fields we play a part in, the field of Digital Marketing, by providing a variety of related services such as Social Media, Content Marketing, Social Care, SEO, PPC, SEM, Facebook amp; GDN Advertising, Email Marketing, Inbound Marketing.

Your role as a Digital Marketing Account Manager at Wedia, among other responsibilities, will include:

  • Preparing and overseeing the onboarding process of new clients, making sure that their needs are clearly identified and fully-understood by the team together with the responsibilities undertaken by the company.
  • To be in constant communication with your clients and your accounts, knowing well and in detail their needs, the available budget, as well as having a grasp of the state and progress of the relevant tasks. Thus, establishing and maintaining a great collaboration and relationship.
  • Organising and overseeing the production of the deliverables from the internal teams (design, copy, performance) according to the needs and the budget of the accounts you manage.
  • Skillfully coping with and tackling uncomfortable situations so as to solve and deal with the issues that inevitably occur with the clients and the accounts you manage. Handling those issues with the ability to predict difficult situations, while showing sharpness, empathy, flexibility and diplomacy so that you carefully balance between defending both your client and the company itself.
  • Collaborating with your colleagues and maintaining a positive attitude, being open in exchanging ideas and working together in team spirit towards a common goal.
  • Using the tools that are chosen and following to the letter the processes and the standards that have been set by the company.

You will be an integral part of the Digital Marketing Department of the company and you will be an Account Manager coordinating a team made up of a: Social media copywriter, Blog post copywriter, Designer, Performance Marketer. We have an objective-driven culture in all the projects that we create and we expect from you to be able to handle and juggle the related terms and basic notions with relevant ease. Terms such as performance, digital marketing KPI’s, Google Slides, Sheets, Docs as well as having an eye-for-detail for everything you do.

  • To have graduated University (Greek or non-Greek) and have a degree relevant to Marketing or Communications.
  • To have honed your organisational, project management, negotiation and communication skills.
  • To be able to follow through and oversee internal operating procedures.
  • To be able to speak fluently both Greek and English, written and spoken.
  • To be eager to learn new things and to evolve in the digital marketing field
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience as a digital account manager
