Fairplay Group is a business services company which provides services including Digital and offline Marketing; Website Design; Software Development and Customer Retention Management.
Due to recent rapid growth of Betshop.gr, a brand owned by B2B Gaming Services Malta ltd, one of Fairplays' top internal client, we are now looking for a Sportsbook Product Manager to join the team.
As a Sportsbook Product Manager, you must be passionate about sports and sports betting, with a good understanding of the Greek online gaming industry. The role will suit a passionate candidate who is keen to make their mark in an industry-leading company, aiming to stimulate growth-boosting innovation in the product as well as engaging the customer base. The right candidate for the role will lead the Sportsbook team and be focused on the Sportsbook product marketing and product development, daily operations and promotional campaigns.
A flavour of your Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify ideas around how to improve the Sportsbook product from an end-user perspective (Features, UX, Content etc.)
- Representing the end-user perspective in cross-functional teams tasked with delivering initiatives for our sportsbook and grow the sports KPI’s.
- Working closely with, and support the Product and Operation teams on defining and prioritizing the Product Roadmap, strategic goals and initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of the sportsbook promotion calendar and assisting with the briefs to the marketing department ensuring concise campaign implementation.
- Ensure that the site experience and customer journeys are consistent, maximizing usability and accessibility across all devices.
- Collaborate with Product amp; engineering team to prepare User stories and requirements and refine the product backlog. Play an active role in Sportsbook product discovery and innovation.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to help set the pipeline, focusing on campaign enhancements to existing propositions and planning new promotional ideas.
- Take full ownership of the planned promotional initiatives, end-to-end including conceptualization, creation, execution, follow-up and learnings and optimisation.
- Evaluate initiatives including but not limited to communications and campaigns, to get the understanding of the performance, the effect on the business and how to improve and optimize.
- Proactively suggest new investigations and analysis using data to determine the best course of action, communications, promotions, best practices amp; product features from competitors.
- Present marketing with suggestions and recommendations on the most interesting sports events, promotions and product release for Sportsbook.
- Collate player statistics in a meaningful manner and utilize them to review current promotions and drive future profitability.
- Responsible for ensuring that the site is updated and maintained.
- Offer support to CEX for sports-related questions and issue investigation.
- Regular analysis of competitor activity with regards to product development, promotions and positioning.
- Keep up to date with industry news, sportsbook product innovation and overall emerging mobile technologies.
- Creating and delivering reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
Requirements
- A strong interest in sports, sports betting and knowledge of the online sportsbook industry
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- A data driven mindset to evaluate impact and success. A solid understanding of Google Analytics is beneficial
- Digital savvy
- Great planning and prioritization skills
- Experience working cross-functionally amongst different teams and cultures.
- Clear track record in improving Sportsbook product KPI’s
- Build a highly efficient team of Sportsbook agents
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- Fluent in Greek and English
