Job Description

lmwis seeking for a competent Chief Human Resources Officer on behalf of a leading financial institution to direct the Human Resources department.

Through strategic partnerships and collaboration, the Human Resources, aka People department, recruits, develops, and retains a high performing and diverse workforce. Also, it fosters a healthy, safe, and productive work environment for employees, their families, and the public, in order to maximize individual and organizational potential and position the company as an employer of choice.

The CHRO is responsible for providing leadership and direction in developing and executing human resources strategies to achieve overall strategic direction, business plans, mission and goals.

The new Partner will oversee complex networks of employees on more than one entity and different countries and will act as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of all business units for key organizational and management issues.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies including talent acquisition and development, succession planning, workforce planning which align to current business and talent needs of the operating units.
  • Initiate, articulate, make consensus, and amplify values, norms, culture, and goals within the organization to make one single language.
  • Stay ahead of changes in the business landscape and implement modern, out of the box concepts and solutions to enable the company navigate the workforce issues associated with expanding into emerging markets.
  • Enhance company culture and employee engagement, ensuring Managers and employees are embracing the core values and corporate culture.
  • Set core KPI’s for all business units, which focus on employee engagement, retention / turnover, talent promotions and diversity.
  • versee HR policies, by providing consultation on strategic staffing plans (onboarding, comprehensive training and development processes, etc.).
  • Establish profitable compensation policies; provide guidance regarding execution of compensation and benefit strategies that foster a diverse workplace and enable employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential.
  • Contribute to annual business planning and budget processes of all operating units.
  • Mentor HR management team to effectively support business strategy, execute on various HR functions and develop skills and competencies.
  • Direct and provide recommendations about performance management processes.
  • Ensure organization’s compliance according to employment legislation.
  • Conduct HR operations and policies reports, in line with the business metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with leading HR teams at a senior level, experience in a big four company will be a plus
  • Solid academic background, certifications will be highly regarded
  • Robust understanding of the business and its operations, ensuring that guidance is based on business and employees’ needs
  • Vast expertise in local and international Human Resources processes, employment law and legal regulations
  • Ability to use HR metrics and analytics, computer systems savvy
  • Fluency in English
