We are looking for an artistic Maintenance Technician - Painter to join our Athens operations team. You will be responsible for rehabbing and painting of our properties. Most of our work focuses on interiors of units after tenants move out and before new renters move in. We're looking for experienced Painters who understand the industry best practices and apply them to every aspect of their work.We offer a competitive salary and full benefits.
What you will focus on:
- Apply various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers
- Prepare, clean, and tapes all jobsites
- Remove old paint coating, if necessary
- Mix colours or oils to obtain desired colour or consistence
- Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned
- Contribute to other Maintenance works within the Operations department (e.g. ceiling lamps installation, vanishing furniture, etc)
What we are looking for:
- Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers
- Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
- Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety
- Previous painting experience is a must
- Proficiency with painting tools and equipment a plus
- Ability to safely operate equipment
