The role
At SmarterChains, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a background in SaaS applications to lead, build and develop the SmarterChains platform. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and the software engineers to design, build, and roll-out services that deliver SmarterChains' vision and strategy.
All candidates for this position should have a solid Product Management background and extensive experience managing modern software projects end-to-end. The role is remote
Responsibilities
- Define product strategy, roadmap planning, ensuring product amp; business alignment
- Work with QA and Engineering management to drive through best practice, techniques and technology both on the team and around the company
- Manage technical projects, track progress towards milestones, and keep tabs on all parts of agile planning and development cycles
- Ensuring that UI features and functionality adhere to the agreed corporate and product UX standards and design guidelines
- Communicate the state of projects across teams, stakeholders as well as to executives.
- Create product and market presentations in order to highlight product benefits, explain business trends, and support management’s decisions
- Be responsible for the Product database maintenance
- Participate in the creation of users stories, specs, roadmaps, and own the prioritization of tasks and activities
- A successful Product Development Manager has a positive can-do attitude while able to define what high-performance is for the team and helps the team achieve the organization's objectives under very stretched deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the full software and product development lifecycle, with an understanding of the fundamentals of building successful SaaS products
- Experience in managing and coordinating remote teams of more than 5 people
- Track record of working with product, design, and engineering teams
- In-depth knowledge of software product development methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking, Agile, Scrum)
- Experience in Enterprise or B2B sales
- Experience working with JIRA amp; Figma and other product development tools
- Proficiency in Excel amp; Power Point is mandatory
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills in English (mandatory)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to work against tight deadlines
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and Industry 4.0 concept will be considered a plus
