Job Description

PeopleCert’s Global Partnerships amp; Recognition team is looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced individual to support the team across a wide range of functions. If you are passionate about evidenced based strategic planning, data visualization to bring a narrative to life and continual systems improvement then this could be the role for you.

Reporting to the Manager of Global Government Relations, you will be an excellent communicator with great people skills and an eye for detail. You will have experience in working with education and government data sets to extrapolate meaningful information that can be used to enhance strategic planning, reporting and content development.

Responsibilities

  • Compile government contact lists, policies and processes for recognition of language exams
  • Utilize historical data sets from government, education, immigration sources, education agents and the corporate sector to model and forecast test taker trends
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on the partnership group’s initiatives and status reports liaising with the central data teams
  • Update and manage partnership contact information
  • Log information into the CRM, business intelligence and analytics database of PeopleCert
  • Support recognition staff by providing test taker and international student data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information.
  • Support the PC data insights team by identifying continuous improvements to recognition focused data collection and reporting processes to support the measurement of recognition initiatives

Requirements

  • University Degree preferably in Marketing or Business Administration, a Master’s degree and relevant international certifications will be appreciated
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
  • Excellent command of other languages would be an asset (native or C2 level certification)
  • At least 5 years working experience; experience in business development and sales area is desired
  • Experience in an international environment and ability to deal with different cultures will be considered an asset
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to deal with different cultures and work under pressure
  • Ability to prepare numerical reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills (both over the phone and in writing)
  • Excellent IT skills, ECDL Core/Expert certification will be considered an asset

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
