Bid Presales Engineer

ENCODE is seeking for a Bid amp; Presales Engineer to promote our Cyber Security portfolio composed of products and services. The Bid amp; Presales Engineer will technically support sales team to develop opportunities and will also manage and support a significant range of bids in accordance with formal bid processes of the company.

We are looking for an inspired presales professional that will be part of the highly skilled presales team. The job holder will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of services. We're on the cutting edge of cyber security solutions for challenging, large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of tendering specifications and structuring bids
• Respond to RFI's and RFP's
• Cooperation with company’s departments for the production of presales information such as company’s technical solutions, project references, collection and quality check of CVs, ICT methodologies
• Deliver technical presentations and demos to clients
• Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team
• Producing detailed costings for proposed solutions
• Interface with customers to understand and capture requirements and devise effective solutions
• Ensure a smooth and successful transition (externally and internally) from sales process to service delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or relevant field
• Master’s degree in Cyber Security will be considered as a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in similar position
• An excellent track record of successfully managing bids through to award of contract
• A thorough understanding of the full sales cycle and good working knowledge of procurement rules and legislation
• Good understanding of commercial risk and contractual requirements within a bidding context
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels within the organization
