Architectural Design Coordinator

lmw is seeking a Architectural Design Coordinator on behalf of a leading international hotel investment company. The position is based in Athens.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and actions to define the design and review the progress of 5 new 5* hotels
• Manage Product amp; Design project cycle: start-of-project information, product brief amp; masterplan coordination, review content for meetings: ID basic project, ID executive project, FFamp;E proposals, BoQ, final FFamp;E, MUR design coordination and showroom coordination, end-of-project final approval
• Review basic and executive interior design projects to define the design
• Take up the procurement on FFamp;E and OSamp;E supplies
• Run Value Engineering processes and providing CapEX allocation analysis
• Perform regular on site visits and work closely with external teams, such as architects, interior designers, project managers, operators and hotel brands to ensure that the projects meet the requirements and the deadlines.
• Work in close collaboration with other departments, such as Technical, Asset Management, Famp;B specialist, Entertainment specialist, Cost amp; Planning and Cost Allocation.
• Prepare information for weekly and design meetings, the Design Committee, as well as working sessions and Asset Management meetings.
• Report to the Product amp; Design Manager, located in Barcelona.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design; Master’s degree will be a plus
• Proven experience in 4* / 5* hotel construction and design
• Experience in the technical department of a hotel chain will be valued
• Hotel Operational knowledge would be a plus
• Fluency in English
