Job Description
Main focus: Pre-sales and international business development.
EUROPEAN DYNAMICS (ED) wishes to employ a Presales Manager, to provide his/her services in the company’s offices in Athens.
The Presales Manager will participate in the definition and implementation of the company’s business development strategy, s/he will analyse Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and will design technical solutions for our prestigious, international customers. S/he will collaborate with business development executives and software engineering teams of our company to create competitive technical proposals, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and highlighting our company’s value proposition.
The Presales Manager will be a member of a highly competent international business development team, active in 40 countries internationally, offering great opportunities for professional growth.
Tasks:
- Participate in the definition and implementation of the company’s business development strategy;
- Participate in proposals and respond to RFPs;
- Coordinate technical and consulting resources across the company to compose optimal technical solutions;
- Collaborate with Bid Managers driving the sales cycle on technical strategy;
- Prepare and make technical presentations and demos to our customers;
- Acquire deep knowledge of our products and capabilities;
- Keep up with technology trends and research new products and solutions;
- Communicate with software vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
- University degree in IT / Computer Science or Engineering;
- Post-graduate studies are a plus.
Experience Requirements:
- Extensive technical skills in relation to large software projects (at least 3 years);
- Strong problem-solving capability and analytical skills;
- Excellent team player;
- Very good technical writing skills;
- Experience in e-government will be a plus;
- Presales experience will be a plus.
Linguistic Requirements:
- Fluency in English is compulsory;
- Good knowledge of French and/or German or other EU languages will be highly appreciated.
