The role
As a Senior Web Developer / Team Lead you will be part of a very competent team that works on mission critical applications contributing in all phases of the development process. You will use the latest Javascript technologies to build the Web based User Interfaces of our products, both public facing and internal, used in projects worldwide. You will provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design, to testing.
Responsibilities
- Writing maintainable, testable, efficient software modules.
- Reviewing, testing, and debugging code.
- Understanding specifications and explaining them to developers.
- Ensuring designs and implementations are in compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshooting and supporting existing products and infrastructure.
- Creating / reviewing documentation and test plans.
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Supporting and coaching developers.
Requirements
Required skills:
- Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of full time professional Full Stack / Web Development experience
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using JavaScript and React, AngularJS or similar frameworks
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive Web Authoring
- Experience in consuming HTTP web services / REST APIs
- Working knowledge of relational database systems and SQL
- Experience with git
- Strong communication skills and ability to plan and organize work
Bonus Points:
- Experience in cross device and cross browser support
- Experience in mobile web and legacy browser support
- Any backend experience with NodeJS and/or PHP will be appreciated
