Job Description
AgroApps is an SME, backed by Space Hellas SA, that aims to solve the problems of modern farming and agriculture by building systems that address real life challenges using sophisticated numerical models, machine learning technologies, satellite and meteorological data, and crop growth models.
We are currently looking for a Junior Front end Developer to join our Product team!
You will join an autonomous Agile team and work along with the Product Owner, the UI Designer and other Software Engineers to create a unique online experience to our customers. You will be working with the latest technologies (our stack includes VueJS and Vuetify) and you will be responsible for implementing custom high-performance and responsive applications around the areas of remote sensing, geographic information system (GIS) and mobile applications.
Role Summary
What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain front-end applications;
- Test and code review of other developers’ code;
- Implement wireframes and mock-ups into user flows;
Requirements
What we expect:
- At least 1+ years of working experience;
- To have an excellent understanding of JavaScript knowledge;
- To have a solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3;
- Fluency in a modern JavaScript framework (preferably VueJS);
- Write clean, well-structured and maintainable code by using software development best practices;
- To care about Usability and User Experience;
- To have a strong desire to develop new skills and learn new technologies.
Will be a plus if you also have:
- Experience with Git (or any other version control software);
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors like Less and Sass will be appreciated;
- Experience with WebGIS development;
- Experience with data
