As an Application Developer,ideal candidateshould translatesystem requirements into the design and development. He/she should manage the life cycle of projectsbyassessing how well the delivered solutions fulfill the requirements and meet the business need.
Role and Responsibilities
- Experienced developers with previous experience in the end-to-end design, development
- Ability to work and liaise directly with the Organizations Front amp; Middle Office and various functions to gather the requirements
- Understand and participate actively to issue solving (Incidents, Service Requests etc)
- Familiarity and confidence working in a proper development environment: CI/CD
- A developer with good software design principles, someone who writes robust code along with accompanying test suites
- Participate to several testing phases.
Requirements
PreferredTechnical and Professional Expertise
- Visual Cobol
- Microsoft Visual Studio: C++, C#, Visual Basic
- .NET
- SSRS
- REST API amp; Services development
- Microsoft SQL
- SQL Oracle
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Design, Development amp; Sizing projects. Experience in Insurance industry will be considered as a plus.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and delivery process and source control management (Jira, Git, etc.)
- Functional programming experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Be a self-starter and be able to quickly grasp and understand existing software.
- Coordinate with other teams in Technology
