FlexCar is growing rapidly and we are looking for a Senior Accounting amp; Finance Associate to join our premises in Athens. The position entails a senior role in all accounting and financial matters within a fast-growing and heavy financed scale-up to ensure its accounting and tax flow.

Position Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly periodic VAT returns
- Preparation of VIES and Intrastat
- Preparation of monthly withholding taxes (Business activity, interest taxes, rights taxes).
- Agreement with major suppliers
- Overview of expenses in My data
- Overview and agreement with the insurance amounts
- Overview of leasings, bank loans, bond loans of private individuals and affiliates
- IFRS 16
- Participation in the closing of the year and the regular audit
- Control of fixed assets and depreciation register
- Control of accounting records
- Monitor supplier contracts
- Double taxation agreements
- Requests to AADE for registry issues
- Registration of payroll and contractors
- Communication with Business Finance issues for cost centers etc
- Very good knowledge of ERP fields relevant to the work area (AP)
Requirements
- University Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics from a top tier university in Greece or abroad
- 5-7 years of ccounting/ udit/ n-house finance background
- Professional experience in Big 4/ Fintech or within a fast-paced environment is considered a plus
- Solid skills in ccounting and ax due diligence
- Strong skills in analyzing data combining several excel spreadsheets
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Orderliness and ability to work independently
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate a number of tasks with a wide range of stakeholders in a startup environment
