Job Description
EUROPEAN DYNAMICSis looking to recruit for its headquarters in Marousi, Athens a Financial Planning amp; Analysis Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial planning and budgeting process, aligning financial goals with business objectives;
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and provide insightful analysis;
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement;
- Assist in the generation of precise and up-to-date financial statements, encompassing monthly, quarterly, and yearly management accounts, and prepare materials for board presentations;
- Participate in strategic planning and other corporate finance initiatives;
- Implement automation throughout the Accounting amp; Finance department to improve accuracy and efficiency;
- Design and maintain cash forecasting processes;
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis;
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (accounting background is a plus);
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and budgeting processes;
- Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis;
- Proficiency in financial reporting and variance analysis;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software;
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA qualification is a plus).
