Job Description

In Natech we are seeking to hire a highly motivated Compensation amp; Benefits Specialist. As a Compensation amp; Benefits Specialist, you will be managing the full cycle of compensation and benefits including but not limited to payroll execution, benefits administration, and compliance advising. This position reports to the Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) and interfaces with employees and line managers in Greece and Abroad.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation amp; Benefits Strategy

  • Safeguards compliance with the local employment law and advises the CPCO on legal risks and associated costs.
  • Chairs innovation and shares knowledge and experience.
  • Provides advice, support, and training, to improve experience and ensure results.
  • Develops and revises relevant policy, procedure, and material to lead an efficient role.

Hiring Employees

  • Is responsible to collect all supporting documents to hiring and checks their lawfulness. Provides feedback to the employee when necessary.
  • Updates the payroll software and HRMS with the necessary information and announces newcomers to the ERGANI information system.
  • Updates contracts amp; ERGANI information system when necessary.

Tracking Changes

  • Reviews monthly the shifts, scheduling and timesheets of all sites and ensures all employees follow internal guidelines and local labour law. Provides consultation when needed.
  • Updates the ERGANI and/or EFKA platform with any change (e.g., change to teleworking, overtime, shift scheduling, leave administration) an employee, line manager or the CPCO communicate safeguarding that data are valid, and delivered within appropriate timeframe according to local legislation deadlines and guidelines.
  • Computes and administers resignations, termination of contracts and dismissals following internal guidelines and law compliance.
  • Tracks changes in employee data and updates promptly the HRMS.

Managing Payroll

  • Regularly collects all necessary information and updates the payroll software and the HRMS.
  • Issues the monthly payroll on time and with accurate data. Submits the payroll sheet for approval to the CPCO ensuring that all salaries will be paid on time.
  • Distributes to the CPCO the social security funds (APD) and employment tax (FMY) monthly statements for approval. Uploads the APD to the EFKA online platform and forwards the FMY to the accounting department for payment.
  • Safeguards annual income statements are correct.

Administering Benefits

  • Manages the relationship with all providers in cooperation with the CPCO to meet legal requirements and internal guidelines.

Health, Safety and Welfare

  • Manages the work of the Safety Technician and Occupational Doctor safeguarding compliance with the local law and internal guidelines. Communicates any risk to the CPCO.
  • Maintains all legal documentation accurate and up to date.

Reports and KPIs

  • Keeps the database and employee records fully updated and with the correct information during the employment lifecycle.
  • Prepares any report required by law or the CPCO.
  • Delivers relevant KPIs to the CPCO.

Requirements

Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll, especially in a multinational technology environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of issuing payroll (including rotating shifts, and multi-locations) and managing benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of Greek and EU labor law.
  • Sound numerical skills.
  • Technology savvy and comfortable with different HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and database management for record keeping and payroll issuance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in multicultural teams in an international fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
