The Head of Remuneration, Rewards and HR Operations holds a pivotal role in contributing to the overall HR strategy to support the Company’s growth and success. The job holder is responsible for overseeing all aspects of remuneration and rewards design and administration, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and for optimizing HR operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Remuneration and Rewards strategies that align with organizational objectives and support employee retention and engagement;
  • Lead the design, evaluation, and administration of competitive and equitable compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and recognition programs;
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other fringe benefits, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain workforce planning strategies that align with the organization's short-term and long-term objectives. Utilize data analytics, historical trends, and business insights to forecast future workforce requirements and identify potential gaps;
  • Monitor the workforce budget process, ensuring alignment with overall organizational budgetary limits;
  • Conduct scenario planning exercises to prepare for potential changes in staffing requirements, mergers, acquisitions, or other business shifts;
  • Oversee the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees and work closely with Finance to reconcile and resolve discrepancies;
  • Stay abreast of market trends, legislative developments, and best practices in compensation, benefits, and HR operations to recommend adjustments and enhancements to existing programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, finance, and legal advisors, to develop and execute strategic initiatives related to compensation, benefits, and HR operations;
  • Oversee the administration of HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with data privacy regulations;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations governing compensation, benefits, and HR operations. Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance;
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR functional areas to deliver seamless HR services and support to employees across the organization;
  • Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior management amp; relevant committees on compensation, benefits, and HR operations-related matters;
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Remuneration, Rewards and HR Operations teams, including performance management, professional development, and coaching to foster high-performance and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred;
  • Minimum 6-7 years of progressively responsible experience in remuneration and rewards management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role;
  • In-depth knowledge of remuneration and rewards principles, practices, and regulations, including experience with job analysis, salary benchmarking, and benefits programs design and administration;
  • Strong workforce analytic skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations;
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business goals into workforce strategies;
  • Demonstrated experience in HR operations management, including HRIS administration, process improvement, and project management;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs;
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
  • Proven leadership and team-building capabilities, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
