Due to continuous growth and expansion,Pharmathen Pharmaceuticalsoffers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Production Supervisor at ourSapes premises.

More particularly:

What you will do:

  • Monitor all basic steps of the production process, guiding the operations and daily reporting to the Production Senior Manager.
  • Ensuring the quality, safety, productivity, and housekeeping of the production area.
  • Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines.
  • Takes initiatives or participates in actions aimed at improving productivity and reducing production costs.
  • Proposes corrective and improvement actions related to production processes and HSE.
  • Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
  • Follows and controls the implementation of written procedures and instructions cGMP’s ensuring the quality of the product.
  • Contribute in the preparation of manufacturing documents (batch manufacturing records)
  • Commitment to achieving qualitative and quantitative goals
  • Participate in Production team meetings

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

BSc in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or relevant field

Minimum Experience

2 3 years of experience in a relevant position within the pharmaceutical industry

Job-Specific Skills

  • Competent in English and PC (MS office amp; ERP)
  • Ability to work on shifts and/or weekends
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities
  • Critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
