Junior Graphic Designer

Ellinopoula Ltd is a leading online Greek language education company focusing on Greek Diaspora children (outside of mainland Greece) through an online educational platform featuring animated series, quizzes, games, language exercises, interactive activities, and live online classes with Greek language teachers.

We seek a Junior Graphic Designer to work part-time with the potential to work full time and assist our team with creating content for our online platform amp; social media visual material. Illustration skills are not necessary as we mainly compose images from stock vectors and modify them as needed.

Although animation skills aren’t necessary initially, being interested in learning is required. Our weekly social media posts need basic video editing (for posts, stories, reels, etc.)

We’re flexible with working hours and a hybrid work-from-home model.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding our strategic positioning and target audiences (Greek parents and Greek children growing up abroad, teachers using our platform as a complimentary educational tool, students, etc).
• Collaborating with other designers, agencies, copywriters as well as marketing managers, developers, educators, and user experience specialists.
• Benchmarking against industry-leading platforms, sites, and apps to adopt best practices.
• Designing visual layouts for marketing materials and collateral (customer emails, newsletters, social media graphics, digital ads, banners, videos, presentations, and print media)
• Taking work from concept to final execution within deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to create content for various media

Requirements

Requirements:

• Portfolio
• Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, and image selection
• Proficient use of Illustrator amp; Photoshop
• Demonstrable graphic design skills
• Ability to incorporate feedback and take direction well
• Team player with good communication and presentation skills
• Interested in learning motion graphics and video editing
• Knowledge of English and Greek language

Nice to have:

• Motion graphics amp; animation
• Knowledge of web design tools and languages (Figma amp; HTML)
• Social media use amp; knowledge
• Illustration skills
• Experience in children’s education, apps, websites, games, or books
