Reservations Manager

Grecotel Hotels and Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team as a Reservations Manager. As a Reservations Manager at Grecotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the reservations department. You will be responsible for overseeing the reservations process, managing the team of reservation agents, and ensuring that all guest bookings are handled with the utmost care and attention to detail.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservations department, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all guest bookings
• Manage a team of reservation agents, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the reservations process
• Maintain a strong knowledge of the company's properties, amenities, and services in order to effectively assist guests with their bookings
• Monitor reservation trends and data to identify opportunities for maximizing revenue and occupancy
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure seamless coordination of guest bookings and special requests
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong understanding of reservation systems and hotel operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of multiple languages, including English and Greek, is desirable
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
