APT Information Systems S.A. is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Business Development Director to join our team. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
- In this role, you will develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and oversee the sales team's activities.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies and plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet customer needs
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Manage and mentor the sales team, setting performance targets and providing guidance and support
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance and market analysis to senior management
- Attend exhibitions and conferences both in Greece and abroad
- Organize amp; schedule meetings, calls and presentations with potential customers
- Flexibility to travel for visiting customers
Requirements
- At least 5 years Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in the industrial sector and/or software industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
- Experience in developing and executing business development strategies and plans
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluency in both Greek and English
