Position Summary
- Actively involved from the initial steps of software development life cycle (analysis, design, implementation)
- Providing input on the acceptance criteria and support developers when it comes to testing activities
- Contribute on the integration testing
- Ensure the quality before the release
- Contribute on automation
- Participate in the QA chapter
Responsibilities
- Play an active part in an agile team throughout the lifecycle on the analysis, design, development amp; testing
- Execute manual testing and introduce automated test scripts
- Design, implement and maintain test cases to run in an automated environment
- Design, implement and maintain regression test suites
- Work closely with software developers and product owners
- Create bug reports, and test bug fixes
- Propose new testing methods, tools and frameworks
- Drive quality assurance lifecycle
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a software test position, for backend applications
- Knowledge of Java (experience in Java development and/or creating Java automation scripts)
- Experience in working with Selenium Webdriver, TestNG, Jenkins CI, Cucumber, Postman will be highly appreciated
- Very good command of the English language
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to grasp the big picture
- Attention to detail and strong testing mindset (nothing goes untested)
- Strong communication skills and ability to quickly establish relationships
- Ability to prioritize quickly, act proactively and adapt to changes
- Thirst for knowledge and intellectual curiosity
- Enjoy working in an agile environment and to act proactively
