Job Description

Are you experienced in commercial finance projects?

The Commercial Strategic Planning amp; Projects Officer is responsible for the monitoring and implementation of the main Commercial Division’s strategic objectives. Reports to Commercial Strategic Planning amp; Projects Section Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the review and monitoring of the Commercial Division’s Action Plan which includes the company’s main commercial developments.
  • Collaborates with the Regulatory amp; Business Development Division as well as the Legal Department of Elpedison to effectively identify changes risks and opportunities, and to provide better forecasts with respect to the Business Plan.
  • Monitors all Commercial Division projects relevant to regulatory and legal needs of the commercial division and its participation in public consultations, association activities and other relevant activities.
  • Undertakes the monitoring and management of projects for the commercial Division.
  • Actively participates in the creation of Commercial Annual Budget, Mid-Term Plan (5-year business plan) and Quarterly Budget Reforecasts.
  • Communicates and cooperates with all Commercial Departments (Marketing, Sales, COPs) to timely complete tactical or/and ad-hoc business analysis.
  • Is involved in the assessment of the Costing Strategy for all customer segments, proposing potential developments and exploiting market opportunities that could lead to the increase of either the Company's profitability or the market share.
  • Tracks major strategic projects and analyses with key focus on cost optimization, margin improvement and increase of revenue streams.
  • Monitors the progress and the status of the agreed strategic objectives and performance indicators.
  • Performs root cause analysis of emerging issues and proposes rectifying resolutions.
  • Conducts analysis related to improvements in existing business strategies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Financial Management, Business Administration or Electrical Engineering
  • A Master's degree in Economics, Financial Management, Business Administration or Electrical Engineering will be considered as a plus
  • At least 2 years of relevant Professional Experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the Energy industry or/and consulting will be considered an advantage
  • Understanding of the Energy sector
  • Professional Business English
  • Advanced Microsoft Office User
  • Highly developed communication amp; interpersonal skills
  • Effective planning amp; project management skills
  • Accountability amp; result orientation
