About the job:
Systems Engineer
We are seeking for a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Infrastructure team.
If you thrive on designing, implementing and maintaining complex systems infrastructure while ensuring reliability and scalability This role is for you!
Responsibilities
· Design /Install/Backup/restore/recovery/monitoring setup/configuration/space management of Databases (cloud or hybrid)
· Database performance tuning, security amp; networking
· Documentation amp; Support
· Escalation to Vendors to resolve issues, such as bug fix requests
· Participation and running of new projects and deployments in Windows and Linux environments
Requirements
Qualifications
· Degree in Computer Science or related field (BSc, MSc)
· 3+ years of experience in a relevant position with hand-on duties (installation, maintenance)
· Solid experience in MS SQL Management
· Proven working experience in administering of Windows Servers (IIS webservers)
· Good knowledge in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and scripting
· Tibco middleware family (BW, EMS, adapters), administration and configuration skills will be considered an asset (IBM WebSphere family)
· Experience in administering Cloud infrastructure (ie Azure)
· DevOps Essential skills (Git, Docker)
· Familiarity with existing and emerging EM tool technologies (ie SolarWinds, Dynatrace, HP BSM)
· Customer-business service orientation and quality focus deliver
· Proactive analytical expertise and problem solving approach
· Team spirit and ability to learn, adapt, communicate and organize effectively
