As aSenior Research Scientistyou will provide high quality analytical method development and validation in a GMP environment. You will also support new product development through analysis of innovator samples and Ramp;D formulations.
More particularly:
What you’ll do:
- Organize the analytical team daily schedule, provides technical support, problem solving and guidance
- Participate in the analytical method development/optimization amp; method validation of complex drugs to support all stages of drug development from drug substance characterization to finished product characterization and support.
- Participate in analysis of formulation /manufacturing process trials.
- Deliver, evaluate and interpret experimental data
- Compile, maintain, review and interpret analytical and statistical data. Assists with the generating high quality technical documents required for method validation, stability, formulation and deficiency letters
- Participate in meetings to provide project update to internal and external collaborators.
- Collaborate with External labs
- Maintain and follow all laboratory systems, GMPS
- Follow the rules as define in the relevant EU and FDA guidelines
- Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements
- Assume other activities and responsibilities as directed
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum MSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field, PhD will be considered an asset
- At least 3 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent experience
Job-Specific Skills:
- Expertise in chromatographic technics (eg. HPLC, GC, LC-MS)
- Excellent communication in English language (writing amp; speaking)
- Computer literacy
- Strong problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
