About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support our finance operations with monthly reporting, financial business partnering and other ad hoc financial analyses. The Financial Analyst is placed in our Global FPamp;A Department and the responsibilities include but are not limited to financial analysis and modelling, tracking of financial and operational KPIs, monthly management reporting etc. Ultimately, you will act as a business partner and will prepare the required analyses for the management and other business stakeholders in order to support them with performance tracking and decision making.
Indicative Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly reporting for the Management Board
- Perform financial forecasting and analysis according to the Company’s goals and strategy
- Analyze operational and financial data to create business models driving well-informed decisions
- Provide recommendations for cost and financial performance improvement
- Enhance efficiency by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools
- Evaluate and report financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Tracking of operational, financial and people KPIs
- Ad hoc financial analysis to generate insights for decision making
- Weekly performance tracking and reporting
- Assist the Finance team with other responsibilities and ad hoc requests
Requirements
The ideal candidate would possess:
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or other related field
- 2-4 years of work experience, ideally in Business and Financial Analysis or an audit/consulting firm with emphasis in financial analysis amp; modelling
- Sound understanding of local and international accounting principles (IFRS); professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.) would be considered a plus (either completed or in progress)
- Strong analytical amp; quantitative skills coupled with business acumen
- Comfortable in dealing with numbers and processing of financial information
- Comfortable in extracting, combining and processing data from various sources and systems
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (highly proficient particularly in Excel and Powerpoint); knowledge of additional tools/functionalities will be considered a plus (PowerPivot, Think-cell etc.)
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
- Ability to collaborate with various teams
- Strong organizational and presentational skills
- Proactiveness and self-motivation
- Fluency in English
