As a PV Monitoring amp; Back Office Support Engineer you will be responsible for the monitoring and support activities of new and advanced solar PV systems. You will work closely with our local team, key customers and partners and with local certification and industry bodies.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring ofLow/Medium Voltage, using monitoring systems and software tools (e.g. maintenance management software etc.)
- Responsible for SLA execution amp; compliance to customer requirements
- Maintain accurate logs and prepare maintenance reports
- Perform periodically performance monitoring of PV systems and prepare summary reports, power variations and other parameters
- Invoicing scheduling and tracking of maintenance activities (scheduled preventive or nonscheduled corrective)
- Preparation of cost estimates for restoration or retrofit works
- Coordination with the Technical and Procurement teams for the execution of restoration or retrofit works
- Preparation of quotations for new maintenance contracts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 2years experience in the monitoring of Low and Medium Voltage PV plants. Experience in maintenance related activities will be considered as an asset
- Knowledge of performance monitoring systems for PV stations eg. Monitoring portals etc.
- Ability to prepare an analytical autopsy of candidate PV plant site and identify potential risks/issues will be considered an advantage
- Ability to manage external partners
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
