We are looking for an individual to join our Data Engineering team. The right candidate should have a very good knowledge of SQL programming (stored procedures, SSIS, ETL, database design) and some experience with BI tools. You will need to be able to understand our client’s business processes and implement the appropriate ETL workflows and data processing. We need a person who has good skills for on-premises implementations but also has a goal to master cloud development as well.

Responsibilities- Implement reliable and maintainable ETL workflows, ensuring data quality.
- Implement complex data processing according to customer’s business requirements.
- Interact with data owners and technical teams to facilitate data exchange specifications.
- Participate in the design and implementation of databases / data marts.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in customer training.
- Improve and optimize code and workflows.
- Contribute to our products roadmaps.
- Occasionally design/create reports amp; dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Work experience between 3 and 6 years in MS SQL Server (db programming, ETL, SSIS)
- Understanding of DWH amp; DB design principles.
- Some experience in a popular BI tool i.e. (Power BI, Qlik, MicroStrategy etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with a collaborative and friendly character.
- Strong written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills.
- Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken
- Microsoft Certifications in relative fields.
- Experience in Azure synapse, focusing on data processing.
- Software development Microsoft stack, with emphasis in backend.
- Experience in Python.
- Experience in any of the following sectors: Banking, Insurance, Retail, FMCG.
- Experience in Agile practices.
