Within this framework, we are looking for an agile and highly motivated Presales Engineer for OSS Solutions to join a team of future shapers.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will perform pre-sales and product/solution marketing activities for products and solutions in the OSS portfolio of INTRACOM TELECOM. The Presales Engineer will work in a challenging business environment, with local and international customers and business partners, constantly seeking to meet customers’ expectations and to demonstrate the competitive advantages against competing offerings.
He/she will be involved in the following activities:
- Respond to RFI/RFP/RFQs and prepare techno-economical proposals.
- Follow technology trends and introduce new products and solutions to Company’s OSS portfolio accordingly.
- Conduct Market Analysis (Market Research, Technology Assessment, and Competitive Analysis)
- Work with vendor partners to familiarize with their offering amp; help drive business.
- Prepare Collateral amp; Sales Material
- Promote OSS products/solutions at commercial events and conferences.
- Conduct Presentations amp; Demos to customers
- Analyze customer requirements and design solutions with the optimal combination of HW, SW and implementation services, in collaboration with Company’s Engineering amp; Delivery teams.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications (BSc or MSc)
- At least 2 years of work experience in a presales or product marketing role in the area of network software solutions
- Proven working knowledge in Telecommunications Networking (Fixed, Mobile) amp; relevant technologies.
- Speaking and writing fluency in Greek and English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Availability for short travels abroad
Desired Skills
- Prior working experience as a product or presales engineer in Telecom OSS solutions.
- Desired areas of expertise (any or several of those):
- Fault Management, Service Management, Performance Management
- Customer Experience Management
- Network amp; Service Inventory
- ESB/BPM
- Prior involvement in Telecom Operator OSS delivery project or participation to Telecom Operator operations team
- Knowledge of TMF standards
- Business related degree will be a plus.
