We are now looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL DBA with strong technical skills and solid working experience to work in new challenging projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's SQL databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's SQL databases
- Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of the databases
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Optimize queries and tuning performance for the best response time
- Perform database backups and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot database-related issues
- Document changes and modifications to database configurations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL database administrator
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization
- Experience in database backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Good knowledge of database security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communications skills, including written and verbal.
