About the Tech Team

Technology powers everything we do at Dialectica from communicating with clients and finding the most relevant expert profiles in just a few minutes to indexing and categorizing thousands of pieces of information every day. To do so, we have built our own proprietary web application that automates and optimizes the delivery of our market leading services.

To date, the team consists of 70+ people across Software Engineering, Product amp; Design, TechOps, and is expected to grow further in 2024. Being part of Dialectica’s Technology Team you will have the opportunity to help build tech products according to the requirements of our internal and external clients and share the company’s vision to roll out more information services software products in the future.

About the role

We are looking for an IT Manager that will ensure the proper operations and business continuity for Dialectica as well as full adherence to the security requirements.

You are expected to have a hands-on approach and be able to deliver solutions from start-to-end along with your team while respecting priorities and timelines, ensuring that Dialectica retains a consistently high level of operational excellence and customer experience.

You should fit well into an organization where all members take collective responsibility for team successes/failures and you strongly believe that developing team members' level-up is profoundly beneficial to the team's and company’s success.

Indicatively, the responsibilities would include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining networks, servers and technology tools
  • Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
  • Creating user accounts and performing access control
  • Establishing and Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
  • Communicating and managing external vendors
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
  • Support the implementation and integration of different tools and platforms based on the company’s needs
  • Team management

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience as an IT Administrator with involvement in System Administration, Network Administration or similar role.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Manager - Team leader
  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or any related field
  • Strong knowledge in IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Google Services Administration
  • Atlassian tools administration knowledge on JIRA and Confluence
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery is a plus.
  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus.

Fluency in English is a must
