About the Tech Team

Technology powers everything we do at Dialectica from communicating with clients and finding the most relevant expert profiles in just a few minutes to indexing and categorizing thousands of pieces of information every day. To do so, we have built our own proprietary web application that automates and optimizes the delivery of our market leading services.

To date, the team consists of 70+ people across Software Engineering, Product amp; Design, TechOps, and is expected to grow further in 2024. Being part of Dialectica’s Technology Team you will have the opportunity to help build tech products according to the requirements of our internal and external clients and share the company’s vision to roll out more information services software products in the future.

About the role

We are looking for a Head of TechOps that will ensure the proper operations and business continuity for Dialectica as well as full adherence to the security requirements.

This role is critical to the success of our technology-driven initiatives, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless delivery of IT services while respecting priorities and timelines, ensuring that Dialectica retains a consistently high level of operational excellence and customer experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of technology operations, and a strategic mindset to drive efficiency and innovation.

Indicatively, the responsibilities would include:

  • Provide visionary leadership to the technology operations and IT teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology operations strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage IT service delivery to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard the organization's data and technology assets
  • Collaborate with vendors/partners and internal stakeholders to negotiate contracts, manage service-level agreements (SLAs), and optimize costs
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Implement improvements to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts
  • Develop and manage the technology operations budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources
  • Establish and maintain processes for continuous improvement in technology operations
  • Proactively identify and address operational challenges and bottlenecks
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing technology operations.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks
  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.
  • Project Management skills and experience.
  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus
