Job Description

Costa Navarino is in Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese, in one of the most unspoiled and breathtaking landscapes in the Mediterranean. It is currently home to four 5-star deluxe hotels, The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Westin Resort at Navarino Dunes, W-Costa Navarino at Navarino Waterfront and Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino at Navarino Bay.

In the coming years, more upscale branded hotels will be added to our portfolio, both in Messinia and Athens, including the re-launch of the former Athens Hilton.

We arelooking for a Hygiene Team Leader to join our team at W, Costa Navarino.

The Hygiene Team Leader is responsible for the overall hotel sanitation and hygiene standards. He/she will be responsible for the implementation of HACCP and ISO22000:2018 guidelines related to Food Safety as well as local codes and Marriott Brand Standards.

The Hygiene Team Leader will be responsible for the following:

· Daily hygiene checking of Kitchen, bars and buffet designated areas

· Attending kitchen and Famp;B daily briefings

· Daily Haccp/ISO22000 Audits. Reporting of findings

· Document control of Haccp/ISO2200/Marriott BSA procedures

· Ensuring that Haccp/ISO22000 procedures are followed and records are up to date

· Food sampling and following up on results interpretation

· Provide training amp; refresher courses for Food Safety and Food Allergens

· Gathering relevant information and records for any alleged food borne illness

· Support guests with special dietary requirements/Food Allergies

· Verifying the records of suppliers control measures

· Verification of stewarding cleaning documentation

· Conducting HACCP meetings

· Conducting HACCP briefings during orientation and operation

· Attending all training sessions arranged by W Costa Navarino

Requirements

· Minimum of 2-year experience in a similar position

· Have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Hygiene/Haccp Manager

· Technical knowledge and job skills training which include effective use of the provided materials

· Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English

· Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Greek

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
