In the capacity of a Senior Environmental Consultant, your involvement won't just be limited to project execution. YOUR ROLE amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
As an integral member of our dynamic team, your key duties will include:
-Conducting thorough analyses and calculations of clients' carbon footprints, adhering to international frameworks like the GHG Protocol. Your role will be pivotal in crafting and implementing decarbonization strategies, focusing on the improvement of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
-Guiding and advising our clients in their ESG Reporting processes, ensuring compliance and excellence in accordance with standards such as CSRD, GRI, ISSB, TNFD and SBTi, among others.
-Leading and executing specialized environmental impact assessment studies, employing your expertise to deliver insightful and actionable findings.
-Utilizing and mastering our internal business intelligence tools, particularly Microsoft BI, to drive data-driven decision-making and strategies.
-Actively supporting the sales team, leveraging your knowledge and skills to enhance client engagement and business growth.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving sustainable change, using your expertise and passion to make a tangible impact on both our clients and the planet.
Requirements
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
-A degree in Engineering, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
-A postgraduate degree in Environment, Finance, or Data Analytics is highly desirable, offering an added advantage.
-Demonstrable expertise in carbon accounting and environmental studies, showcasing a deep understanding of these critical areas.
-A solid professional background with5-8years of experience in Sustainability, Carbon Accounting, and Environmental Studies, reflecting a track record of relevant and impactful work.
-Fluency in English, both in written and verbal forms. Additional experience in international settings would be a significant asset.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint,ChatGPTindicating strong capabilities in data analysis and presentation.
-Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building.
-A strong drive for professional growth and a keen interest in staying abreast of industry developments.
-A proactive approach and self-motivation, demonstrating an ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently.
