About the role
We are looking for an experienced SoftOne Technical Consultant - Software Engineer to support the company's operations and foster business growth. As a key member of our technology team, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining, customizing, and implementing business systems. Additionally, they will provide assistance and training to business users of these systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and design ERP solutions aligning with the company's needs and objectives.
- Parameterize the system using the integrated tools of SoftOne.
- Develop and maintain custom modifications to SoftOne using JS and SBSL (SoftOne Batch Script Language).
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize ERP workflows and enhance system capabilities. Propose and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency and user experience.
- Create and maintain system and user documentation.
- Provide training to end-users on how to effectively utilize the ERP system. Offer technical support and promptly troubleshoot user-reported issues.
- Support other business system projects as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience with SoftOne ERP.
- Knowledge of ERP Business Logic.
- Demonstrated competence in SoftOne using JS and SBSL (S1 Batch Script Language).
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET programming.
- Demonstrated competence in the design and development of relational database queries and reports (SQL).
- Documentation skills, including requirements, design specifications and work instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and evolving environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in the English language for effective communication.
