About the role

An Area Manager in Celestino is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the performance of company's retail stores, ensuring operational excellence, leading and developing store personnel, driving customer satisfaction, and achieving financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of store managers to ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and take part in the performance appraisal procedure.
  • Supervise personnel work schedules and modifications that arise.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, sales strategies, and customer service and supervise the staff on them.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences by ensuring consistent service quality across all stores.
  • Collaborate with store managers to set and achieve sales targets.
  • Analyze financial reports, identify trends, conduct competitor analysis and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with the HR Department for recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives.
  • Foster effective communication between store managers, corporate headquarters, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.
  • Participate in regular meetings and reporting sessions to provide updates on area performance and operational challenges.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the area.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, integrating new knowledge into operational strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field will be considered a plus.
  • Proven work experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with ERP Software.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software and tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the designated area and occasionally to corporate headquarters or other locations.
  • Driver's license.
