About the Role
As a UI/UX Designer at Wedia, you will be part of this growth and thrive in transforming complex user needs and business goals into simple and enjoyable experiences.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, copywriters, project managers and developers and you are expected to have a strong sense of accountability, exceptional collaboration and communication skills and an enhanced big-picture viewing ability.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include things like:
- Collaborating with product management and the Tech team to define and implement innovative solutions for the company’s product direction, visuals and experience
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand business needs
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to pixel perfect final designs
- Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Collaborating with developers to ensure seamless integration of design into the development process
- Creating project deliverables (sitemaps, wireframes, high fidelity designs etc.) that can be mapped directly to the business and user requirements of the project as well as clearly communicating the UX Strategy and the reasoning behind it.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction / Business Analysis / Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- A minimum of 3+ years experience as a UX/UI Designer
- Demonstrated knowledge of designing for responsive web and mobile applications
- Excellent understanding of Information Architecture and Interaction Design principles
- Familiarity with UX Research principles and practices

- Comfort with receiving feedback
- Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills
- Fresh perspective, new ideas and an awesome attitude
- You are comfortable communicating in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus).
