Job Description
Security Officer Responsibilities
Applies the visitor’s security policy and maintains the visitors’ logbooks and any other security report needed.
Follows the policy for Optasia access cards and reports immediately any lost card to the Asset amp; Security Division for further actions.
Keeps all physical keys of Optasia and as per the procedure.
Applies indoor/outdoor patrols every 2 hours for Athens premises and parking -2, including all Optasia safety areas/all floors and as defined.
Handling effectively all Optasia safety systems; able to monitor indoor/outdoor cameras, door phones, fire alarm, door alarm etc.
Attends the on-site audits during the ISO Standard process of Optasia by the authorized auditors.
Attends any risk assessment process of Optasia.
Attends any safety technicians visit and should needed.
Attends and supervises technical works of the building/offices and its systems.
Assists in the evacuation plan of Optasia by ensuring all employees and visitors are safely escorted out of the premises, secures all Optasia doors during the evacuation and monitors the CCTV system via the mobile app remotely.
Prepares reports for security risks and natural hazards when occurred for the Senior Mgt amp; Asset amp; Security Division.
Coordinates all daily shift matters with the other guards, creates the monthly shift/rotation schedule and he is responsible for the guards’ training on all Optasia safety systems and procedures. Able to cover any additional shift and if needed.
Performs any other tasks requested by the Director, Asset and Security Mgt.
Security Officer Requirements
Valid Security License.
First Aid Training.
Fluency in English and Greek.
Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and CCTV software.
Min five years of working experience as a Security Officer/Guard.
Very well organized.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Dynamic Personality with strong Communication, Negotiation and Problem-solving Skills.
Attention to Detail.
Results oriented.
Ability to work under strict deadlines and pressure.
Apply all Optasia procedures, policies and follow orders strictly.
Ability to understand, evaluate the incidents and act accordingly in an emergency.
