About the role
We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of a warehouse. The role's primary goal is to ensure that the warehouse functions smoothly, with a focus on optimizing processes, managing inventory and leading a team of warehouse personnel. Overall, a Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and creating a safe and efficient working environment for the warehouse team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement efficient inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Delegate tasks and set clear expectations to ensure the team meets operational goals.
- Implement best practices for receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to address any repairs or issues promptly.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track and manage inventory.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of logistics or supply chain management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in fashion retail logistics, especially in eCommerce fulfillment, is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in logistics software and tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
