Job Description

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of ECOLAB, a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions, is seeking aTerritory Manager, for the company's baseat Patras.

The Territory Manager (Chemist/Chemical Engineer) is going to join the leading Famp;B team based in Patras. The Territory Manager is responsible for the technical sales amp; service delivery and the execution of projects, primarily focused on supporting the hygiene operations on site using Ecolab products / concept applications mainly for beverage industries. As a Territory Manager, you will lead the projects, facilitate the necessary resources and equipment on time and report the progress on a weekly base to the EWC (Ecolab Water for Climate) and local team. You will also be responsible for customer accounts in Peloponnese having the opportunity to work with some of the leading beverage customers in the area.

What You Will Do:

Project Implementation:

  • Leads amp; coordinates the projects on agreed timeline.
  • Prepares the implementation schedule based on the provided roadmap with a detailed description of activities (by week), timelines, internal and external resources, equipment installation.
  • Prepares and communicates the quarterly projects overview which are connected to the performance-based fees.
  • Reports progress of projects to the Ecolab contract manager and brewery management.
  • Is responsible for sign-off of projects.
  • Raises issues on time and participates in exploring possible solutions.
  • Document delays and root causes timely and precise.
  • Supports the regional sales team with invoicing of the agreed fees.

Technical Sales amp; Service:

  • Manage customer accounts in specified areas with site wide responsibility for Ecolab hygiene performance, chemistry, and technical service.
  • Deliver technical support to customer sites with any hygiene requests; identifying and resolving customer challenges as outlined in the customer Service Level Commitments (SLCs).
  • Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and provide solutions and recommendations for improvements to CIP/COP cleaning practices and procedures on the customer plant.
  • Participate in General Account Management activities such as regular customer review meetings reporting, forecasting, receivables management, account planning etc

Requirements

What You’ll need:

  • Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, food technology or relevant field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in project management preferably in the Famp;B industry (or similar)
  • Very good knowledge of English language (verbal amp; written communication)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office especially excel and ability to use new software monitoring applications via cloud-based platforms, HUB / Planchexx.
  • Affinity with food processing, quality management
  • Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external (brewery amp; beverage) stakeholders at different levels (shop floor, experts, brewery management).
  • Able to manage and coordinate activities done by brewery employees.
  • Can work under time pressure.
  • Autonomous, Flexible in working patterns as some out of hours required.
  • Willingness/Availability to travel in the area of responsibility across Peloponnese
  • Driver’s license
