Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Demand Planning Officer to join our Demand team at Pharmathen’s Marousi premises.

As a Demand Planning Officer you will coordinate Demand Planning process and ensure alignment with business objectives. He/she with contribute to the development of robust demand plans, facilitate decision-making processes, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting and operational efficiency.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Withhold a comprehensive understanding of the company's product portfolio, market dynamics, to inform the DP process effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather market intelligence, customer insights, and demand signals to drive accurate and robust demand forecasts
  • Participate in the Demand Planning meetings involving key stakeholders from business development, operations, finance, and other relevant functions
  • Maintain demand planning models, leveraging historical data, statistical analysis, and market trends (incl. new product introductions) in Kinaxis Supply Chain Tool
  • Analyze demand forecast accuracy and bias, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions using Kinaxis tool
  • Build/prepare regular reports and metrics to track and communicate DP performance, including forecast accuracy, service levels fill rates, order cycle times, inventory turns, and cost metrics
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide insights into deviations from plan or performance gaps, recommending actions to mitigate risks and improve outcomes
  • Collaborate with IT Dept. to enhance data management and reporting capabilities, ensuring accuracy and availability of relevant information for decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the DP cycle and drive the implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement systems and tools that support the DP process, such as advanced forecasting models, demand planning software, and integrated supply chain planning platforms
  • Follow Company's Quality Policy and comply with current operational standards and legislative requirements
  • Work in accordance with the requirements of the written Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Directives and Protocols of the company's Quality System, that are related to the duties of the described position
  • Follow the rules of hygiene and control of health status as defined in the relevant Policies and Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field, master’s degree will be considered an asset
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical area
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, demand planning, Samp;OP, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing amp; speaking)
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends, specifically in a pharmaceutical context
  • Demonstrated experience in driving DP processes, including demand planning
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis, and relevant software tools
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements
