TPL, a leading e-commerce company based in Patras, Greece, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, scalability, and security of our systems and infrastructure. Your expertise and contributions will play a critical role in supporting our customers' growth and delivering exceptional service in the global e-commerce landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Support Internal Infrastructure:
- Manage and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, network devices, physical servers, and virtual environments.
- Ensure the stability and security of the overall IT infrastructure.
Network Administration:
- Demonstrate proficiency in network management, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Operating Systems:
- Administer both Windows and Linux servers, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
Passion for Learning:
- Exhibit a strong desire to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Desktop Setup:
- Configure and set up Windows PCs for optimal performance and security.
Infrastructure Maintenance:
- Manage infrastructure components based on Hyper-V, Linux servers, Windows Server, SQL Servers, MySQL Servers, and VMs.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the systems.
Monitoring:
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues.
On-Call Support:
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely resolution of critical system issues outside of regular business hours.
Hardware Knowledge:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of hardware components and their integration within the IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator in a mid-senior role.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Strong understanding of network administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Hyper-V, SQL Servers, MySQL Servers, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to set up and configure Windows PCs.
- Solid grasp of hardware components and their functions.
- Proven ability to work in an on-call support rotation.
