Our Wholesales team is currently seeking a Distribution Manager to take on a range of responsibilities, including leading and guiding our Distribution staff. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily delivery of goods, creating and coordinating daily truck routing plans, and ensuring orders reach customers on time and accurately.
The position is based in Koropi.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, inspire, and guide a dedicated team of distribution staff to achieve seamless, efficient, and accurate deliveries in a timely manner.
- Create schedules and plans, monitor order loading times, check that routing is followed, set priorities, and monitor the progress of tasks.
- Oversee day-to-day distribution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Be responsible for settling customer invoices per driver route and participate in the control of the performance of collections from drivers in collaboration with the Warehouse Accounting Department
- Take ownership of budget development and monitoring as well as staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and development.
- Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels for daily distribution and peak periods.
- Foster strong collaboration and alignment with other departments, such as Warehouse and Customer Service, to ensure seamless distribution of our goods.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters/MBA is a plus).
- 3-5 years of proven experience in leading distribution teams ideally within the FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a diverse team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management and ERP systems, MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
