The Team
The Engineering team’s purpose is to keep more.com’ backbone systems and applications healthy and secure, implement and deploy new features providing competitive advantages to the platform and offer a unique experience to our users. Engineers design and implement new features in a fast-paced environment. They also find solutions to streamline highly scalable and critical applications, affecting millions of users.
The Role
As a QA / Test Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by designing and performing manual and automated tests, identifying and reporting defects and working closely with software developers, business analysts and the product owner. You will ensure that the services that customers receive consistently meet or exceed expectations which helps boost the company's reputation.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Design comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that product releases do not introduce new defects.
- Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify, record, document, and track software defects and anomalies.
- Stay up-to-date by evaluating and implementing new testing tools, strategies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Good understanding of basic web technologies such as HTTP, REST, JSON, etc.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium or Appium.
- Demonstrable experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python) and automation tools.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality software and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and good problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
