We're in search of a dedicated and dynamic individual to become an integral part of our team as a Corporate Travel amp; Events Assistant. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service, managing flight bookings, hotel reservations, ground transportation, and contributing to the execution of corporate events.

As a Corporate Travel amp; Events Assistant your tasks will include the following:

  • Handling flight bookings, hotel reservations, and ground transportation for corporate travelers.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for corporate travellers, addressing their travel and event requirements and preferences.
  • Assisting in the planning, organization, and execution of corporate events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Ensuring cost-effectiveness while upholding the highest standards of comfort and convenience.
  • Cultivating strong client relationships through effective communication and the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Negotiating with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Monitoring product/service delivery and handling invoicing.

What we look for:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate travel management in a multinational environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and booking platforms used in the travel industry is highly desirable.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across cultures.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet usage.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired).
  • Strong IT skills; ECDL Core/Expert certification will be considered an asset.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
