Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Bid Manager. As a leading provider of environmental consulting and technology solutions, DRAXIS has been dedicated to improving environmental performance and supporting decision-making processes for local authorities and private organizations since 2000. As the Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by managing the tendering process and securing new projects with a focus on national sector. You will be responsible for leading the bid development and submission process, ensuring that all proposals are of high quality, compliant with client requirements, and submitted on time. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with technical experts, sales professionals, and project managers to develop winning bids that meet our clients' goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, including identifying opportunities, coordinating bid teams, and ensuring timely submission of proposals
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of client requirements, project specifications, and industry trends to inform bid strategies and solutions
  • Collaborate with technical experts, sales professionals, and project managers to develop competitive bids that align with client needs and objectives
  • Prepare and review bid documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to client specifications
  • Coordinate and facilitate bid review meetings to gather input, address questions, and refine proposals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to enhance bid opportunities and promote DRAXIS services
  • Support the negotiation and finalization of contract terms and agreements with successful clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in bid management or a similar role
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully secure new projects
