Automation Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leading and innovative steel producer in the market, we are currently looking for a self-driven Automation Engineer, to join its team in Volos.

Your day-to-day

• Perform and Oversee Corrective and Preventive Maintenance on all Electrical/Mechanical equipment
• Timely and valid treatment of emergency failures
• Participate, Monitor, and Control the Progress of Maintenance projects
• Upgrade, Maintain amp; Provide Technical Support for existing Electrical/Mechanical Control Systems
• Coordinate activities with production and quality control departments to prioritize tasks and ensure compliance with Health amp; Safety regulations
• Follow Health amp; Safety regulations

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of experience in the industrial field
• MEng Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
• Experience with automation software and hardware and more specifically on PLC /HMI systems, mainly Siemens TIA Portal, electrical controls of motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Health amp; Safety Culture
• Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
• Excellent command of MS Office Applications
